A bright, juicy green stone set in a smooth gold band. The chrysoprase is cut in a honeycomb faceted style, so the surface catches the light in soft, shifting facets.
Chrysoprase is a translucent apple-green chalcedony. Its name comes from the Greek for "golden leek", which I think is brilliant!
Traditionally, chrysoprase is a stone of growth, renewal and optimism. It's linked with the heart chakra and is said to encourage self-belief, generosity and a fresh start. A lovely gift for someone starting a new chapter in their life.
